FAQ

Are your custom number plates compliant with UK regulations and DVLA guidelines?

Yes, all of our custom number plates are in accordance with UK regulations and DVLA guidelines.

Do you provide physical number plates?

No, we only provide the registration number.

How does this process work?

When purchasing, it may take up to 2 weeks to receive your new or replacement DVLA V750 Certificate of Entitlement. After purchasing a registration from AqibPlates, we will notify the DVLA to issue a new V750 Certificate using the information you provided during the purchase process.

How long does the certificate take to come?

The time it takes to receive your new Certificate can vary based on the backlogs at the DVLA and the service times of Royal Mail, but typically it takes up to 2 weeks.

Do I need a driving license or vehicle to purchase a registration number?

Registrations can be held on the DVLA certificate without requiring a license or vehicle, making it easier to invest in and own a registration.

What if I need to change or cancel my order after it's been placed?

Once payment is made, it is non-refundable. This is because we are selling the rights of ownership to the registration, which falls into the "Personalised Goods" category. As a result, we do not offer a returns policy at Aqib Plates.

Is the advertised price of a registration the final price, or are there any additional costs to consider during the purchase?

The advertised price of a registration includes the total cost of obtaining the right to display the registration on your vehicle, and there are no additional undisclosed costs to consider. However, the purchaser may opt to adjust the spacing of the registration at their discretion. To ensure compliance with the legal requirements for spacing as specified on the V750/V778, we recommend that you contact us for confirmation.
